The VCDS software license and interface an enthusiast needs to turn any PC with an available USB Port into a comprehensive diagnostic tool for all VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda automobiles which do not use CAN for diagnostics. The KII-USB (pronounced K2-USB) is a completely redesigned version of our popular KEY-USB interface using the latest available electronics to enhance performance and reliability.

Features:

Works with most cars using a single K-Line, K+L, or dual K-Lines for diagnostics. (Does not work with some 2003+ cars using CAN for diagnostics.)

If you need compatibility with the latest cars using CAN for diagnostics, you should order a HEX-USB+CAN Interface instead.

Acts as a "dongle" -- Activation for the full-function version of VCDS is built in! Use VCDS on any suitable PC, no activation codes required.

This system does *not* include vehicle diagnosis support via the telephone. Live telephone technical support for vehicle diagnosis is available separately. One year of such support is included with any of our Pro-Kits.

A 1 GHz Pentium-III (or AMD equivalent) with 256 MB of RAM and Windows XP or newer (XP, Vista, Windows 7 or 8) with an available USB port. With Windows Vista, 7 or 8, use a machine robust enough to properly support the operating system.

Upon receiving your cable, it must be registered with Ross-Tech for your customer support subscription to be active. Each cable comes with instructions on registering.
