With an ordinary open differential most of the power is lost during wheel spin under heavy acceleration. This Quaife differential corrects this problem and others such as FWD torque steer and understeer in corners. Quaife has a unique design called ATB (automatic torque biasing) which progressively locks the differential as slipping occurs. When compare to other differentials that lock immediately the progressive transition is seamless and undetectable making for an OEM driving car with upgraded capabilities. Quaife's ATB differentials are completely gear driven so there are no clutches to wear out over time and produce costly repairs. Differentials do not come with installation kits.
