Brake pads are the stopping force behind your car. Located in the brake caliper, the brake pad grabs the brake rotor when you apply the brakes. Overtime this friction wears down the brake pads and they must be changed to maintain adequate braking. USP recommends changing your brake pads before they wear completely down. This will avoid costly brake rotor replacements.
