This is an ARP rod bolt kit for VW 4 cylinder engines. Made with 8740 chrome moly and thread rolled after heat treatment, these bolts are rated to deliver tensile strength between 180,000 and 210,000 PSI. This rod bolt kit is for use with factory rods only at moderate horsepower levels. Just like every ARP kit we sell, these are fully reusable. Reconditioning rods is necessary before use.
